The Opportunity

Our client, a scaling international tech firm, is looking for a hands‑on Financial Controller to lead their finance department. This is not a desk-from-a-distance leadership role. We need a high‑integrity, technically elite accounting professional who takes pride in executing the day‑to‑day tactical work while providing the leadership maturity to own the department’s outcomes.

Core Responsibilities

• Execute Full-Cycle Operations: You are the primary driver of the daily accounting function. You will personally manage and perform bank reconciliations, AP/AR entries, and payroll processing for both Canadian and U.S. entities using QuickBooks.
• Lead the Month-End Close: You will own the entire close process from start to finish, ensuring the general ledger is accurate, journal entries are posted, and financial statements are produced with precision.
