Minimum Requirements:
- BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance (essential)
- CTA qualification will be advantageous
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a general accounting or financial accounting role
- Experience on Sage, Microsoft Navision and/or IBM Cognos will be advantageous
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting and statutory compliance
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate monthly flash reports, management accounts and financial reporting packs
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger through accurate reconciliations and journal processing
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and manage the fixed asset register
- Review, validate and accurately allocate expenses while ensuring appropriate approvals are obtained
- Prepare and review monthly accruals and prepayments
- Assist with annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
