A leading FMCG Manufacturing client of ours is seeking a Financial Accountant for their Cape Town office in the Southern Suburbs, reporting to the Finance Manager,
The successful applicant will be responsible for the following:
- Prepare accounting transactions and ensure accuracy in financial reporting up to management accounts
- Investigating unexpected variances in the profit & loss account
- Preparing & reviewing monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts
- Assistance in annual budget preparation and reporting
- Assistance of financial year end lead schedule preparation and reporting
- Maintaining effective financial controls and reporting structures
- Contributing to the daily functioning of the finance team and its performance
- Assisting with ad hoc assignments and projects
