Become a vital member of the Vaughan support centre as a General Accountant. Help ensure accurate financial reporting in a flexible part-time role focusing on compliance and account management.
This position reports directly to the Director of Finance and requires proven expertise in general ledger accuracy and account reconciliations. You will also engage in bank reconciliations, preparing financial statements, and handling HST filings while contributing to improvements in financial practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with month-end closing and reconciliations
• Perform account analysis for balance sheet accuracy
• Manage bank reconciliations and cash management
• Prepare HST and sales tax returns
• Process accounts payable invoices and credit card expenses
Requirements:
• 2+ years of accounting experience in entrepreneurial settings
• Post-secondary diploma or degree in accounting or finance
