Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and team-oriented Finance Staff Accountant to join our Finance department. This role is responsible for owning day-to-day accounting activities through to the trial balance stage, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles, and contributing ideas to improve our processes.
Revenue Recognition & Invoicing (primary focus)
- Generate, review, and issue customer invoices accurately and on schedule.
- Apply revenue recognition principles to ensure revenue is recorded in the correct period, including deferred revenue and unbilled revenue schedules.
- Reconcile billing records against contracts, sales orders, and liaise with delivery team to ensure invoices are accurate and complete.
