This is a 20-month maternity leave contract role based in Langley. Our client is an established organization looking to add an experienced Finance Specialist to their team. The ideal candidate is a designated CPA with over 4 years of relevant experience.
About the position
Reporting to the controller, the finance specialist will be responsible for but not limited to:
Oversee the full general ledger, including preparing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end journal entries for controller reviewHandle accounts receivable activities such as invoicing, collections, and posting incoming payments.Complete monthly bank reconciliations and prepare supporting schedules for reviewRun bi-weekly payroll for staff and monthly payroll for board members, including deductions, remittances, and related reportingManage accounts payable processing, including payments and required remittances to industry-related organi...
