About the Position
Reporting to the controller, the Finance Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the full general ledger, preparing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end journal entries for controller review, handling accounts receivable activities such as invoicing, collections, and posting incoming payments, completing monthly bank reconciliations and preparing supporting schedules for review, running bi-weekly payroll for staff and monthly payroll for board members including deductions, remittances, and related reporting, managing accounts payable processing including payments and required remittances to industry-related organizations, calculating and submitting statutory payroll remittances (CRA, MSP, Statistics Canada, PSPP, and others as required), preparing and filing GST returns and rela...
