Responsibilities
- Ensure timely submission of monthly regulatory financial reports to regulators (CIRO) in accordance with various frameworks.
- Develop and document regulatory policies and procedures.
- Ensure corporate transactions are accurately incorporated into the financial reporting with corresponding capital requirements.
- Facilitate the monitoring and projection of organizational performance targets through weekly, monthly and quarterly Risk Adjusted Capital (RAC) amounts.
- Review and assess files prepared by other departments for accuracy and completeness.
- Present complex accounting topics to senior management, recognizing and anticipating potential business opportunities and updating research on new regulatory changes.
