About the Opportunity
- Working with the Director of Finance; gathering and analyzing input from various departments to develop new accounting policies primarily related to specific areas of IFRS
- Researching latest IFRS developments and preparing IFRS position papers
- Financial modeling and performing analytics to assess the financial statement impact
- Provide accurate and timely information for reporting to SEC parent and OSFI
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close process
- Deliver insightful and timely management information and analysis to the executive team
- Maintaining an internal control environment to ensure compliance with internal, external and SOX audits
About You
- CPA, CA with 3-5 years’ experience
- Strong knowledge of and experience with accounting, regulatory and taxation issues
