Reporting to the Senior Manager, Budgets & Financial Planning, the Finance Business Partner (the FBP) is a key financial partner to a portfolio of academic and administrative divisions across Sheridan. The FBP partners with business unit areas and leaders to align financial planning, resource allocation, and operational decision-making with institutional priorities and long‑term fiscal sustainability objectives. The FBP provides expert financial and consultative support throughout the annual budget cycle and ongoing forecasting processes. Acting as a trusted advisor, the incumbent translates complex financial information into actionable insights, challenges assumptions, identifies risks and opportunities, and supports leaders in making informed business decisions.
