Finance Analyst (Saskatoon)

The Opportunity

Finance Analyst is a vital link between Cost/Financial Accounting and Manufacturing Operations. As part of the Finance Team, this position is keeper of accurate labour, yield, and usage information regarding material volumes, material costs and movements. This information is used by various teams to manage cost of product, inventory, and earned labour. This analyst also assists with financial reporting activities (e.g. budgeting, balance sheet recs, journal entries, etc.).

Snapshots of a Day in the Life

• Provide timely and accurate daily and weekly cost reporting to the plant management team.
• Provide accurate weekly/monthly forecasts for overall plant results in a timely manner.
• Work with manufacturing, engineering, and finance to put in place more efficient and accurate processes.
• Participate in inventory management through posting of cycle counts, inventory dispositions, and following up on issues.
