The team is under the Global Finance of Vestas Shared Services Centre. General Ledger is mainly responsible for month‑end/quarter‑end/year‑end closing of the company's financial records, statutory reporting and SOX compliance documentation. The group collaborates closely with regional finance, payroll, treasury and other SSC functions such as AP/AR/TE & controlling and reporting.
Responsibilities
- The General Ledger is mainly responsible for Month End/Quarter End/Year End closing of the company's financial records.
- Execute the finance processing of the General Ledger fully in accordance with defined Vestas Standard Operating Procedures.
- Engage and collaborate with relevant colleagues (AP/AR/TE, Controlling and Reporting) and business stakeholders (Regional Finance, Payroll & Treasury) to solve operational issues swiftly and with quality.
