Join ERM's archaeology and cultural heritage team in Whitehorse/Mayo, YT as a Field Technician. Engage in archaeological field surveys and assist with data collection in this full-time, limited-term role.
This position is full-time for 3 months with a potential renewal. You will work on significant archaeological surveys, participating in survey and shovel testing, while collaborating with an ERM Archaeologist. The role involves shift work, completing up to five 12-day shifts, and conducting fieldwork in variable terrain and weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in shovel testing and survey activities
• Assist Archaeologist with detailed data collection
• Work collaboratively to achieve productivity goals
• Conduct field surveys by truck/helicopter and on foot
• Record archaeological sites and features accurately
