Field Technician (Field Based)

ERM is hiring Field Technicians to join our global consulting firm as part of our archaeology and cultural heritage team in Whitehorse/Mayo, YT. The successful candidate will work with our team to complete archaeological field surveys. This is a full-time, limited-term role for a duration of 3 months, renewable.RESPONSIBILITIES:Participating in survey and shovel testing.Assisting an ERM Archaeologist with data collection.Working in a team environment to meet productivity and safety goals.REQUIREMENTS:A Degree in Anthropology (with a focus in archaeology) or in Archaeology preferred0-3 years of archaeological survey and impact assessment experience.Applicants enrolled in a degree granting university who have completed a field school in archaeology are encouraged to apply.Prior archaeological field school experience a plus.Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions and on varied terrain.Working knowledge of archaeological survey and impact assessment protocols.Ability to wor...
