Field Service Technician Level 1
Responsible for startup and commissioning of projects, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of submersible wastewater pumps and control panels at customer sites.
Core Responsibilities
- Evaluate, repair, and conduct hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical testing of submersible wastewater pumps.
- Basic troubleshooting of electrical control panels.
- Basic understanding of schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Assist with start‑ups and emergency callouts.
- Operate and maintain a service truck with crane and out‑riggers.
- Operate industrial equipment in a shop environment such as forklift, overhead cranes, etc.
- Use various company‑provided hand and power tools.
- Accurate record‑keeping inside Xylem’s work order management system.
