Field Service Generator Electrical Engineer

The Generator Field Services Engineer provides field engineering oversight on all types of generator work. The successful candidate performs inspection, testing, communicates to customers both internal and external, and provides crew supervision.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Conduct electrical and mechanical specialty testing (low and high voltage) as required; perform visual inspections and collaborate with engineering to provide recommendations to the customer about potential unit repairs.
• Prepare and forward accurate reports concerning the condition, repairs, and recommendations for customer equipment.
• Ensure all work is performed per approved processes and procedures while maintaining the highest levels of safety and quality.
• Supervise technicians working on generator equipment during power plant maintenance shutdowns (planned and unplanned outages) based on experience.
