General role
- The Field Engineer is permanently based on-site, and his role is to provide active support to the site teams (Construction and Commissioning) in resolving encountered issues, as well as coordinating and monitoring corrective actions in collaboration with the engineering package teams.
- He must ensure that solutions are proposed for issues raised by the site and verify that all requests are duly documented and forwarded to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Whenever feasible, and in agreement with the Engineering offices, he ensures the formalization and implementation of the solutions proposed locally.
- In addition to ensuring the proper application of change management processes on-site, he must identify and report any issues likely to impact other projects, and to contribute to their mitigation.
