We are seeking an experienced Fiber Optic Technology Engineer to support advanced well surveillance and intervention projects involving fiber optic deployment, DAS (Distributed Acoustic Sensing), and DTS (Distributed Temperature Sensing) technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute fiber optic cable deployment in live oil and gas wells.
- Perform fiber splicing, termination, OTDR testing, and integrity verification.
- Set up, configure, and operate DAS/DTS interrogation systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot real-time fiber optic data acquisition.
- Conduct data quality checks and prepare client handover reports.
- Support field operations, mobilization activities, and technical troubleshooting.
- Interface with clients and technology vendors during project execution.
