Join Seletech as an experienced Fiber Optic Technician in Calgary. This full-time role focuses on fiber optic splicing, installation, and troubleshooting in a team-oriented environment.
Seletech is looking for skilled technicians based in Calgary or nearby areas. You will be responsible for ribbon and loose tube fiber splicing, reading technical blueprints, and maintaining company equipment. Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills are essential, and the ability to work overtime or on emergency calls is expected.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform ribbon and loose tube fiber splicing
• Build new FOSC’s confidently
• Troubleshoot alignment and technical issues
• Read and interpret maps and blueprints
• Pull and prepare underground cables in conduits
Requirements:
• Valid Alberta Driver’s license with clean abstract
• Bucket truck and cable placement experience preferred
• Certification in First Aid, Aerial Lift, and Fall Protection...
