Seeking a Livestock, dairy and forestry farm manager capable of handling general farm administration.
Gilgil area (30 minutes from Gilgil town, 20 minutes from Ol kalou). Must be willing to live on site.
Role
Operations and security
· Day-to-day farm operations. Working with and regular monitoring of the labor force.
· Security management; including regular patrolling and maintenance of electric fences.
· Accounting for farm tools and equipment.
· Maintenance of roads, borehole, buildings, dam and structures.
· Maintenance and general mechanics of agricultural equipment such as tractors, mowers and ploughs, generators, pumps, chainsaws.
· Forestry management including cypress and blue gum plantations for timber.
· Fire management during dry weather

· Veterinary care and disease prevention including managing a spray race for livestock
