Farm Equipment Operator on mixed farm

Overview

We are a family run purebred cattle operation with a smaller scale grain farm located 15 minutes from Saskatoon. We are seeking a full‑time, long‑term employee to assist with day‑to‑day operations and help grow the business.

Responsibilities

• Feed cattle using a silage wagon and bale processor
• Maintain and service equipment
• Perform yard maintenance
• Truck grain
• Haul water
• Check cattle condition and count
• Fence and repair fencing as needed
• Hay and combine hay
• Perform any other job required on the mixed operation
• Operate tractor for many hours per day
• Welding and class 1 certification are an asset, but not required

Compensation

Wage is $23–$35 per hour, depending on experience and will be discussed further.
