Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License – Full Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) Eligible – Mandatory Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) – Mandatory Emergency Desired.

Role and Facility Information

A full-time family practice position is available. This rare opportunity allows you to set your own work–life balance in the East Kootenays. The candidate would have their own panel of patients for which they would provide longitudinal care.

In addition, the candidate would share the responsibility to provide coverage at the Sparwood Emergency Department. The Emergency Department is staffed with emergency-trained RN’s with the support of lab and x-ray technicians. This department averages 18 patients per day. It opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 7 p.m. There is no overnight in-person call requirement in Sparwood.
