Role and Facility Information

Current requirements: College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) license, Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) membership (mandatory), Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) membership (mandatory).

The Health Center provides integrated health and wellness services to youth and young adults (ages 12‑26) on a drop‑in basis in a safe and supportive environment.

• Clinics operate every Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
• A sessional is paid for the full 3‑hour shift.
• CYHC has two sites dedicated to wellness for youth and young adults ages 12‑26 years. Youth don’t need a referral—it’s free, confidential, and drop‑in.
• The team can address medical and mental health needs and can be seen for anything from acne to sexual health to counselling for issues related to anxiety, depression, substance use, gender identity...
