Position Summary
Klinic community health physicians provide direct care to clients in Winnipeg, being seen for primary care, or to clients of our more specialized clinics, e.g. Gender-Affirming Care, Addictions Treatment, STI, Pap. They may work with people of all ages, gender identities, sexual orientations, and ethnicities. Physicians at Klinic provide care at our family practice clinic and at times in other community settings. Physicians at Klinic work independently and as part of a team, recognizing the impact of social determinants of health to the wellbeing of people and providing care within this context.
Qualifications
- Must hold a Doctor of Medicine degree.
- Three years of family practice experience preferred.
- Interest and experience in community-based medicine.
- Opioid Agonist Therapy (OAT) prescribing capacity required, or must be willing to obtain an OAT license at the earliest opportunity.
