Job Overview Family Guide is a social service position within the Courts Division, Family Resolutions Services Branch of the Department of Justice. The role provides high-quality services to Manitobans seeking guidance, support, and information through Family Resolution Services.
Responsibilities
Provide a range of high-quality dispute resolution services, including conducting court-ordered family evaluations, facilitating family coaching, family mediations, and other support services for families impacted by separation and divorce.
Utilize a generalist knowledge base of court operations, family law, and intimate partner violence to support parties experiencing separation and divorce through a single-window service model.
Offer support to families affected by intimate partner violence, child abuse or children in need of protection, criminal involvement, addictions, and mental health concerns.
