What To Expect

The Failure Analysis Supply Team's mission is to determine the root cause and contributing factors of field issues in Tesla's vehicle products, with the goal of improving the overall experience. As a Failure Analysis Engineer, you will play a crucial role in achieving this mission by focusing on failure analysis and root cause activities for Tesla's charging application.

What You'll Do

• Drive issue resolution from root cause analysis to countermeasure implementation on electromechanical components for Tesla's charging products
• Investigate system assemblies, modules, and components to identify the root cause of failure in Tesla's vehicle products
• Design and conduct fault replication tests and experiments on power converters and low voltage PCBA's, including board rework and FW/HW testing
• Collaborate with engineers, suppliers, and contract manufacturers to drive resolution to identified failure causes
