The Department of Vision and Hearing Technology in the Faculty of Science & Technology is seeking a Coordinator for their Opticianry Diploma Program.

Qualifications

• A current license as an Optician/Contact Lens Fitter in good standing with the College of Opticians of British Columbia with certification in Automated Refraction.
• Experience teaching in clinical, classroom, and/or laboratory settings in an Opticianry related program or equivalent.
• At least five years of broad and current clinical experience that includes a sound foundation in Opticianry.
• Curriculum development/maintenance experience/expertise.
• Effective interpersonal skills, initiative and creativity.
