Key Responsibilities
- Directing, coordinating, and scheduling the activities of sewing machine operators.
- Examining finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Training new employees on the operation of sewing machines and demonstrating proper work methods.
- Maintaining and monitoring inventory levels of materials and supplies to ensure production needs are met.
- Assisting with production forecasting and planning, including material requirements and labour estimations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Overseeing the maintenance and repair of sewing equipment.
- Identifying and resolving production issues to maintain efficiency and quality.
- Preparing reports on production performance, costs, and inventory.
