Facilities Technician

Description:

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of the facility and equipment safely in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications; Perform periodic building maintenance inspections and testing to ensure conformity to code and requirements by provincial and federal laws; Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials using power tools and hand tools; Assist in installing structures such as windows, doors, cabinets, drywall and molding; Assist in constructing building frameworks including walls and floors; Building/assembling storage racks (including fast tube), sawhorses and work tables; Painting stands, ladders, worktables, and garbage containers; Taping and labelling floor areas; Relocating racks, stands, and worktables; Locate parts required for maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs; Keep detailed and accurate maintenance records of all work performed; Garbage removal within Hangar; Exterior building maintenance as required by season; Opera...
