Our client, a leading importer of mens apparel, is looking for a Fabric Manager to join their team.
Requirement: Must have a PR.
Key Responsibilities - Fabric Department Lead
- Collaborate with the Design team to identify new trends and source fabrics aligned with market demand
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities for both current and new fabric developments
- Develop, maintain, and manage the fabric library, including PLM system updates
- Coordinate with fabric mills to ensure timely delivery; proactively manage delays and negotiate solutions (e.g., air shipment when required) to meet customer deadlines
- Liaise with customers to address fabric-related needs, including adjustments based on testing results and ongoing satisfaction follow-up
