Job Summary
UPS is hiring an Export Package Handler at their Lachine, Quebec facility for the evening shift (Monday to Friday, 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM). This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. The handler may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks and performs other duties as assigned in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods
- Loads and unloads UPS packages into trailers or package cars
- Scans and sorts packages according to postal codes and routing
- Ships, receives, and stocks packages within the warehouse
- Operates heavy machinery as required
- Completes additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. / 32 kg
