Enhance patient outcomes as an Expert Respiratory Therapist in a fast-paced, 24/7 healthcare environment. Deliver vital respiratory therapy across Intensive Care Units, the Trauma Room, and more.
Reporting to the Manager of Respiratory Therapy, you will apply your skills in ventilation management and airway procedures. This role includes participation in Code Teams, providing crucial support during emergencies. Additionally, you will mentor and guide students under the Clinical Coordinator’s supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and discontinue ventilation support when appropriate
• Act as a member of Crisis and Trauma Teams
• Execute advanced airway management, including intubation
• Provide respiratory therapy according to patient needs
• Supervise and evaluate students in training
Requirements:
• Registered with the College of Respiratory Therapy of Ontario
• Completed accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Current BCLS certification needed
