Experienced Technician, Environmental

The Opportunity

WSP Canada has a full‑time opportunity for an experienced environmental field technician to join our Remediation Program Management team in Ontario. This role involves frequent travel across the province to supervise environmental remediations, conduct field work, oversee contractors, and manage on‑site health and safety procedures. The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, time‑managed, and communicates effectively.

Your Impact

• Preparing and adhering to site‑specific health and safety plans to mitigate risks.
• Identifying and reporting potential and existing site hazards, near‑loss incidents, and loss incidents.
• Maintaining excellent field notes and collecting and handling soil and groundwater samples.
• Carrying out fieldwork such as groundwater monitoring and sampling, K‑test data collection and analysis, soil sampling through test pit excavations or borehole drilling, soil vapour sampling, etc.
