We established Maritime Optima AS in April 2018. Today, we are privately funded by serial tech entrepreneurs and shipping executives. We were awarded the Copernicus price in 2018 and the Microsoft Startup program in . In 2023, we became a part of the Microsoft ISV Success Program. We are working closely with the users while developing the products offered by Maritime Optima.

Today we develop and distribute two SaaS products

• ShipIntel is a flexible and affordable team software for any company involved in maritime business, first launched in October 2022.
