Elk Valley Resources is seeking a qualified Pipefitter to join their Elkford, B.C. team. This full-time role features a 4x4 work schedule focused on safe installation and maintenance of piping systems.
Reporting to the Supervisor of Process Maintenance, this role requires you to fabricate and install piping for various applications, while actively participating in health and safety programs. You'll diagnose issues within the piping systems, perform welding, and maintain thorough records of your work. Also, a respirator may be required for certain tasks to ensure safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Fabricate and install piping systems from 2 to 36
• Diagnose and repair piping failures effectively
• Perform welding and soldering for durable joints
• Maintain accurate work order documentation
• Follow health and safety guidelines diligently
