Experienced Mechanical Fitter Required

Rubix Engineering is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to provide vital services that keep our client operations smooth. Your fault-finding abilities will play a critical role in maintaining high-quality mechanical solutions.
As part of our engineering team, you will focus on identifying and fixing mechanical defects. Your role will include performing basic electrical assessments and reconditioning worn components. Strong knowledge of pumps and hydraulics is essential. Flexibility and teamwork are key, as you'll work in both workshop settings and onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair mechanical flaws in various components
• Assess electrical conditions of AC and DC parts
• Repair and maintain hot oil and water pumps
• Ensure health and safety practices are followed
• Participate in call out rota as necessary
