GFL is actively seeking a Journeyman Truck and Transport or Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our Fleet Maintenance team. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong mechanical background and leadership experience. You will be responsible for a variety of repairs, ensuring vehicles and equipment stay efficient and safe.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform preventive maintenance and thorough diagnostics
• Repair engines and hydraulic systems as required
• Follow GFL’s safety standards rigorously
• Ensure tested equipment operates correctly
• Document all repairs with precision
Requirements:
• Must have a Journeyman certificate in Truck and Transport or Heavy Equipment
• Experience with the SGI Motor Vehicle Inspection an asset
• Clean Class 5 Driver's License required; prefer 1A or 3A
