AtkinsRéalis in Calgary is looking for an Experienced Civil Engineer to lead road design projects. Focus on multidisciplinary project documentation and mentoring.
This full-time role requires a Civil Engineer with over seven years of experience in road and highway design. You will prepare and review design packages, prepare 3D models, generate cost estimates, and provide quality control for engineering work. Your expertise in using CAD/Civil 3D software and understanding of TAC and AASHTO guidelines will be critical in this position, as you also guide less experienced team members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create geometric designs for highway and road projects
• Prepare comprehensive design specifications and documentation
• Develop 3D models for infrastructure proposals
• Estimate project costs based on material quantity take-offs
• Mentor and coach junior engineers and technicians
