You will be responsible for the support and maintenance of CICS systems and IBM MQ subsystems, focusing on critical tasks like configuration, upgrades, and disaster recovery support. Your expertise will ensure robust communication between CICS regions and strong security measures in the MQ environment, contributing to the overall efficiency of the technology estate.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support and configure CICS Transaction Server environments
• Maintain and upgrade IBM MQ environments
• Troubleshoot and analyze system performance
• Execute disaster recovery tests and planning
• Participate actively in a 24x7 on-call rotation
Requirements:
• Proven experience with CICS on z/OS
• Familiarity with IBM MQ on z/OS
• Knowledge of MVS tools such as JCL
