You will experience diverse roles and functions covering building regulations, stakeholder engagement, grant administration and universal design promotion. (What you will be working on) Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Reviewing building plan submissions, including designs related to safety, environmental sustainability and barrier-free accessibility
- Formulating strategies, policies and processes for accessibility standards and advancing universal design in the built environment
- Promoting and administering the Accessibility Fund
- Carrying out stakeholder engagement and community outreach initiatives to address accessibility challenges and promote universal design adoption
