Executive/Senior Engineer, Rolling Stock Engineering

Provide engineering solutions to reliability problems affecting SMRT Trains, Locomotives and their associated equipment. Required to independently conduct defect troubleshooting, failure analysis, reliability trending, and develop engineering solutions to the problems identified.

• Work in any SMRT Maintenance Depots or facilities
• Work in rotating or fixed shifts
• Work at heights to perform engineering activities
• Work effectively with Operations and Maintenance staff from the Lines as well as other engineering departments to investigate defects, develop methods, propose modifications and improve maintenance strategies to rectify them.
• Analyse and trend condition monitoring and defect data to identify reliability concerns, develop methods, propose modifications and improve maintenance strategies to overcome them.
