Executive Director Childcan, The Childhood Cancer Research Association Faced with the news that their child has cancer, families from across south western Ontario have turned to Childcan for direct support since 1974. We provide financial assistance, emotional support, social programs, and research funding, all made possible because of donors who get involved and know that childhood cancer is an experience that nobody thinks they will face, let alone one that families can prepare for. Our families are at the heart of everything we do and we believe that through community collaboration, we can truly make a difference for parents, children, siblings, and caregivers while bringing HOPE for a future beyond childhood cancer.
