Job Overview
WATB delivers commercial and institutional concrete and structural projects. We’re hiring a hands-on experienced Heavy Equipment Operator who can safely run equipment and read site plans/blueprints to achieve precise grades, elevations, and layouts with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Operate excavators, skid-steers, and/or dozers for trenching, backfilling, footing cuts, and fine grading.
- Read and interpret blueprints/site plans, sections, benchmarks, and elevations; verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Set up and use laser levels/grade rods; take measurements and confirm grades.
- Perform daily equipment inspections, grease/fuel, basic troubleshooting, and document defects.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area with proper barricades and signage; protect utilities and adjacent property.
Must-Haves
- Reliable personal vehicle for site travel across GTA.
