Our client is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join the Cape Town team.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate excavators to excavate, move, and grade materials such as soil, rock, and debris.
- Perform trenching, digging, backfilling, and loading/unloading materials in line with site requirements.
- Monitor and adjust machine controls to ensure accurate excavation and grading.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Excavator operation certification is required (Operator's license)
- 2–5 years of experience operating an excavator in a construction, mining, or earthmoving environment.
- Must be physically fit and able to handle the demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and sitting for long periods.
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when required.
