Evertz Security Software Developer Role

Evertz is seeking a Security Software Developer in Markham, Ontario, to drive compliance and security enhancements for our networking products. Utilize your programming expertise to ensure robust security features.
This position focuses on ensuring products meet critical security requirements as set by NDcPP for Common Criteria certification. You’ll implement security updates, manage configurations, and utilize C/C++ and Python/Bash in daily tasks. Your role will also involve securing network management protocols and hardening the Linux environment against vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Translate NDcPP requirements into development tasks
• Implement cryptographic security features in product software
• Harden the Linux environment and enforce security policies
• Regularly upgrade embedded Linux OS and packages
