Support vulnerable populations as an Evening Van Outreach Support Worker at Main Street Project. Engage directly in outreach and provide critical assistance throughout Winnipeg's communities.
This permanent role operates on evening shifts, focusing on immediate needs of individuals facing homelessness. You will provide resources, transport clients, and conduct follow-ups in high-stress situations. Central to this position is the application of harm reduction principles and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Address immediate client needs through resource distribution
• Safely drive the MSP Outreach Vans for transport
• Assess and respond to critical incidents with care
• Conduct wellness checks in encampment areas
• Maintain confidential client records and statistics
Requirements:
