Sedgman is currently recruiting for an Estimator to lead cost estimating activities for engineering projects in the mining and mineral processing industry. This role will be based out of our Vancouver office.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for studies and projects, ensuring alignment with time, cost, and quality targets.
- Lead and collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to develop estimates and risk assessments.
- Maintain and improve estimating systems, databases, templates, and cost records, including final design take-offs.
- Track, report, and manage estimating activities.
- Establish, maintain, and continuously improve estimating databases, price books, templates, and spreadsheets.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating risk management processes and tools.
