Responsibilities:


Review project drawings, specifications, and scope to develop accurate estimates
  • Prepare costings across materials, labour, equipment, and overheads

  • Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing

  • Collaborate with workshop managers, project managers, and engineers to ensure technical accuracy

  • Prepare detailed tender submissions, including cost breakdowns and timelines

  • Liaise with clients to clarify requirements and support competitive proposals

  • Continuously improve estimating practices through industry knowledge and market insights
  • About you:


    To be successful in this role, you will have:


    Degree qualification in Engineering or a related discipline (preferred)
  • Proven experience estimating manufactured electrical equipment switchboards, MCCs, DBs, substations)

  • Exposure to mining, tunnelling, or heavy industry (preferred)
