Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimating Engineer with at least 1 year of experience in construction estimation. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, performing quantity take-offs, and supporting bid submissions for projects involving metal, signage, and glass systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, interpret, and analyze construction drawings and shop drawings
- Perform quantity take-offs with accuracy
- Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials, labour, and equipment
- Conduct drawing markups using tools like Bluebeam / PlanSwift / OST
- Assist in pricing and bid preparation
