Responsibilities
- Analyze MEP project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates.
- Conduct thorough quantity takeoffs for all MEP systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection.
- Source and evaluate vendor quotes for materials and subcontractors, ensuring the best value and quality.
- Prepare comprehensive bid packages, including cost summaries, scope of work clarifications, and proposal narratives.
Qualifications
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, providing a strong technical foundation.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP estimation within the construction industry.
- Demonstrated experience within commercial, industrial, or high‑rise residential projects.
